What is thai massage?

Thai massage has its roots in a spiritual tradition, and its purpose is to heal a person physically, emotionally and spiritually. It was developed more than 2,500 years ago in India. Thai massage makes use of pressure points, which are called sen in Thailand. Practitioners of Thai massage claim that there are 72,000 sen in the body, of which ten are on the highest priority when it comes to doing the massage.

The massage uses passive stretching and gentle pressure along the body’s energy lines to increase flexibility, relieve muscles and joint tension and balance the body’s energy systems. It is both deeply relaxing and energizing.

Traditional thai massage

It consists of action of the force in pressure points. It releases musculature, joints, sinews, foots, pulls the backbone on, including complete physical and psychical relaxation of the human body. That is why it is different from our current massage which works only with our musculature. During the massage masseuses are using their thumbs, open hands, elbows, knees and foots to develop pressure combined with stretching and acupressure. The target consists of unblocking energetic lines and inducing total body harmony.

Thai Masssages of Legs

The massage is based on the existence of reflexive points on your feet which are linked with concrete organs and parts of your body. The compression of these points leads to the release of spasm or blocked zones in your body and it ensures enhanced activity of individual body organs, using natural massage oils.

Thai Aromatic Oil Massage

These massages are more relaxing and less invasive as the classic Thai massages. Masseuses do not use the pressure method, they will perform a muscular stress release. These massages are carried out in combination with aromatherapy by means of aromatic massage. The massage will provide total comfort and relaxation and anti-stress effect on your body and skin. Regular massages will calm nerve system down, release musculature stress.

Thai Royal Massages

They are traditional Thai massages crowned by using of special hot sachets with herbs on spots with streaming energy. It is called the royal massage because Thai herbs and spices in the sachets help to relax perfectly and remove stress.

Conditions for canceling the massage:

Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee of the ordered services. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service.
